Independence
Brands cannot buy placement, approve copy or see an article before it is published. We do not accept payment for coverage.
Research, not testing
Articles are built from manufacturer documentation and official sources and are labelled research-based. We never claim to have owned, used or tested a product unless that is true and the page says how. See how we research.
Affiliate links
Some product links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission when you buy. Rankings and recommendations are not influenced by commission rates. See the affiliate disclosure.
Health and safety
We write about equipment, not medical advice. Where a topic touches safety (loading a rack, using a treadmill, a health condition) we point to the manufacturer's instructions and to qualified professionals.
Accuracy, updates and corrections
Prices, stock and specifications change. Pages show a published date and, when revised, an updated date. Spotted a mistake? Tell us and we will fix it and note what changed.
Images
Real images come first. Product images are official images published by the maker of the product being discussed, used to show that product, with the maker named. Where no real image fits we may use a concept illustration generated with AI, always labelled and never presented as a real product. We do not use stock or agency photos, or images from retailer listings or other sites. Every image has a source record, listed on the image credits page. If you own an image and want it removed, contact us and we will remove it promptly.
Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to help research and draft articles from manufacturer documentation and cited sources, and every article lists its sources. Sepehr Sabbagh-pour is the editor and is responsible for what is published. We never use AI to invent test results, quotes, specifications or experience.
